Disc Jockey is a wonderfully inventive 7.7% fruited sour ale created in collaboration with Kyle Harrop of California's legendary Horus Aged Ales. Combining a shared passion for exceptional beer with a spot of disc golf, this unusual collaboration celebrates the beautiful relationship between spontaneous fermentation, patient barrel ageing and outstanding locally grown fruit. The foundation is a specially selected, puncheon-aged spontaneous beer, generously infused with organic Sultan, Satsuma and Billington plums harvested from Roy Sunde's Orchard disc golf course in Oratia, New Zealand.

The result is a beautifully expressive wild ale bursting with the natural character of three distinctive plum varieties. Expect enticing aromas of ripe stone fruit, fragrant plum skins and delicate orchard fruit, accompanied by the intriguing rustic complexity of spontaneous fermentation. On the palate, luscious plum flavours mingle with refreshing acidity, subtle earthy undertones and the gentle woody influence of extended barrel maturation.
