Garage Project - Pernicious Weed

The monster hop has returned, and this time it's hiding behind a cloud of haze! Hazy Pernicious Weed is a deliciously juicy reimagining of Garage Project's legendary Pernicious Weed, transforming the original's famously bold, bitter character into a softer, fruit-forward New England IPA. Brewed with the same outstanding combination of New Zealand-grown Nelson Sauvin and Rakau hops, this magnificent 6% creation delivers all the intensity of its formidable predecessor with a wonderfully modern twist.

Pouring a beautifully hazy golden colour, Hazy Pernicious Weed bursts with enticing aromas of juicy grapefruit, ripe passion fruit and fragrant tropical fruit, accompanied by distinctive hints of dank hop resin. Nelson Sauvin contributes its unmistakable white grape and gooseberry character, while Rakau introduces luscious stone fruit notes reminiscent of ripe peaches and juicy apricots. On the palate, vibrant citrus and tropical fruit flavours mingle with a soft, rounded mouthfeel and a satisfying resinous complexity.

Juicy, intensely aromatic and wonderfully refreshing, Hazy Pernicious Weed finishes with lingering grapefruit, ripe passion fruit and a gentle, resinous hop bitterness. A superb interpretation of one of New Zealand's most celebrated IPAs, delivering enormous hop character in a beautifully approachable package. The beast is back, and it's hazier than ever!
