Garage Project - Resin Head

Where's your head at? Straight into a glorious cloud of sticky hop resin, if Garage Project has anything to do with it! Resin Head is a magnificently punchy 7% West Coast IPA from Wellington's famously inventive brewery, combining four outstanding hop varieties – Chinook, Centennial, Nelson Sauvin and Simcoe – with a final flourish of distilled hop oil. The result is an unapologetically hop-forward creation celebrating everything that makes a classic West Coast IPA so irresistible.

Pouring a bright golden colour, Resin Head delivers an enticing aroma of freshly squeezed grapefruit, zesty citrus, ripe tropical fruit and fragrant pine resin. Chinook and Centennial contribute their distinctive combination of punchy grapefruit and resinous pine, while Nelson Sauvin introduces delicate white grape and gooseberry notes. Simcoe completes the quartet with luscious tropical fruit, subtle earthiness and an unmistakably dank, resinous character. On the palate, sweet passion fruit and juicy citrus mingle with sticky hop oils, creating a wonderfully intense and layered flavour profile.

Crisp, bright and gloriously bitter, Resin Head delivers a beautifully clean drinking experience, with a lean malt backbone allowing its enormous hop character to take centre stage. The finish is satisfyingly dry, with lingering grapefruit zest, fragrant pine and a deliciously assertive bitterness.
