An Imperial Stout that’s about as straightforward as we get. Loads of heavily roasted malts for a pitch black colour and deep dark chocolate flavour. Enigma hops bring a hint of red berry and gentle pepperiness that is right at home in this booze sodden rodent.
 
An icon of the Huddersfield beer scene since 2011, the Rat Brewery is situated below the Rat & Ratchet brewpub. They’ve made a horde of different beers over the years but one of their best known is Ratsputin, and that beer is where this one started.
