Anchorage Brewing Co - It Gets Better

Sometimes the name says it all, and with Anchorage Brewing Company's It Gets Better, things really do get rather spectacular! This intensely aromatic Double IPA from one of Alaska's most celebrated breweries is a glorious showcase of Nelson Sauvin, brewed exclusively with this exceptional New Zealand hop variety. Renowned for its distinctive white wine character, vibrant tropical fruit flavours and beautifully expressive aromatics, Nelson Sauvin takes centre stage in this hop-saturated creation, delivering an extraordinary combination of juicy fruit, tangy citrus and refreshing resinous complexity.

Crack open a can and prepare for an explosion of freshly sliced tangerines, ripe passion fruit and enticing tropical aromas. On the palate, luscious waves of juicy guava, sweet honeydew melon and tangy white gummy bears create a wonderfully vibrant and distinctive flavour profile. Nelson Sauvin's unmistakable fruity character shines throughout, combining bright citrus zest with soft tropical sweetness and delicate white grape undertones. A subtle suggestion of fragrant pine resin provides a welcome contrast, adding depth and balance to the beer's generous fruit-forward character.

Bold, juicy and bursting with personality, It Gets Better delivers everything you could wish for from a modern American Double IPA. Its wonderfully expressive hop profile combines tropical richness with refreshing citrus tang, while a gentle resinous edge keeps the finish beautifully balanced. A magnificent single-hop showcase from Anchorage Brewing Company, proving that sometimes one exceptional hop is all you need to create something truly memorable. And yes, it really does get better with every sip!
