At Struise, we love every beer we craft. However, if we had to name one true “flagship,” it would undoubtedly be Pannepot. After years of brewing delicious but "safer" beers, this was our first venture into the world of extreme flavors. It played a massive role in shaping who we are today.

This “Old Fisherman’s Ale” is named after the fishing trawlers where men risked life and limb to feed their families. Character-wise, it sits perfectly between a Belgian Strong Dark Ale and a Stout. It pours a luscious dark brown with a creamy tan head, offering a complex profile of toasty bitterness and deep caramel sweetness.

Because of its dark, robust complexity, Pannepot is the perfect candidate for barrel-aging. Over the years, we have aged it in various casks, including Bourbon and Calvados. Don't miss out, try it soon!
