Adroit Theory Brewing Co - Angel's Trumpet

Heavenly hops with a devilishly delicious twist! Angel's Trumpet is a magnificent 8% American IPA from Virginia's boundary-pushing Adroit Theory Brewing Company, combining the best characteristics of East and West Coast brewing traditions in one beautifully balanced creation. Double dry-hopped with Citra, Mosaic and El Dorado, this distinctive hybrid IPA delivers the vibrant, juicy fruit character associated with modern East Coast beers alongside the crisp, refreshing drinkability of a classic West Coast IPA. The result is an intensely aromatic, hop-forward beer that offers plenty of flavour without sacrificing balance.

Pouring a beautifully clear golden colour, Angel's Trumpet bursts with enticing aromas of freshly peeled clementines, ripe mango and vibrant citrus zest. Citra contributes its distinctive combination of juicy tropical fruit and bright citrus, while Mosaic introduces layers of ripe mango, delicate berries and fragrant hop complexity. El Dorado completes this outstanding combination with luscious stone fruit and sweet tropical notes. On the palate, generous waves of juicy clementine and ripe mango mingle with subtle grapefruit bitterness, supported by a clean, crisp malt backbone and lively carbonation that keeps everything wonderfully refreshing.

Bright, aromatic and exceptionally well balanced, Angel's Trumpet delivers the best of both IPA worlds. Its expressive hop character provides plenty of juicy tropical sweetness, while the crisp body and restrained finishing bitterness ensure a refreshingly clean drinking experience. The finish is satisfyingly dry, with lingering citrus zest, gentle grapefruit and a delicate resinous edge. A superb showcase of Adroit Theory's versatility, proving that enormous hop flavour doesn't always require a thick haze or overwhelming bitterness!
