Oso Brew Co - 60kg Tropical Fusion

Oso Brew Co has gone all out with 60KG Tropical Fusion, a gloriously hop-saturated New England IPA showcasing the extraordinary aromatic potential of Tropical Fusion from Freestyle Hops. This innovative hop blend combines several varieties grown together and selected specifically for their vibrant tropical character, creating an explosion of exotic citrus and juicy fruit aromas. The beer takes its name from the whopping 60 kilograms of hops used in dry-hopping, delivering an intensely aromatic experience bursting with tropical fruit, zesty citrus and luscious fruit sweetness. Rather than relying on a conventional combination of individually selected hop varieties, Oso has put this distinctive blend centre stage, allowing its complex tropical personality to shine. It's a fascinating showcase of modern hop innovation and another outstanding example of the Madrid brewery's passion for pushing the boundaries of contemporary IPAs.

Pouring a beautifully hazy golden colour beneath a creamy white head, 60KG Tropical Fusion delivers a wonderfully soft, silky mouthfeel, with barley, wheat and oats providing a smooth foundation for its expressive hop character. On the palate, expect generous impressions of ripe tropical fruit, exotic citrus and juicy stone fruit, accompanied by a gentle sweetness that enhances the beer's luscious, fruit-forward personality. Despite the enormous dry-hop addition, the bitterness remains well integrated, allowing the vibrant aromas and complex fruit flavours to take centre stage. At 6.5% ABV, there's plenty of substance behind its juicy character, yet the smooth texture and refreshing finish make it remarkably drinkable. Intensely aromatic, beautifully balanced and bursting with tropical flavour, this is an exceptional choice for enthusiasts of modern, heavily dry-hopped New England IPAs.
