Adroit Theory Brewing Co - Annihilation

Prepare for complete hop annihilation! Annihilation is a gloriously juicy 7.5% Double IPA from Virginia's acclaimed Adroit Theory Brewing Company, a brewery renowned for producing some of America's most intensely aromatic and indulgently hazy beers. Built around an extraordinarily generous addition of oats, this formidable creation delivers a beautifully silky, almost creamy body with a delicate underlying sweetness. Double dry-hopped with Citra, Galaxy and El Dorado, Annihilation combines three exceptional hop varieties to create an explosion of vibrant tropical fruit character, all wrapped up in Adroit Theory's signature pillowy haze.

Pouring a luscious, opaque golden colour, Annihilation bursts with enticing aromas of freshly peeled tangerines, ripe papaya and juicy tropical melon. Citra contributes its distinctive combination of vibrant citrus, mango and passion fruit, while Galaxy introduces layers of luscious tropical fruit and fragrant peach. El Dorado completes this magnificent hop combination with notes of sweet melon, juicy pear and tropical sweetness. On the palate, generous waves of tangerine, papaya and ripe melon mingle with a wonderfully smooth, oat-rich texture, creating an intensely juicy and beautifully rounded drinking experience.

Rich, aromatic and remarkably smooth for its substantial 7.5% strength, Annihilation delivers everything that makes modern New England Double IPAs so irresistible. Its luxurious, slightly sweet body perfectly complements the enormous tropical hop character, while restrained perceived bitterness allows the juicy fruit flavours to take centre stage. The finish is soft and satisfyingly fruity, with lingering citrus, sweet melon and a delicate hop bitterness. A magnificent showcase of Adroit Theory's mastery of heavyweight hazy IPAs, delivering maximum flavour with dangerously effortless drinkability!
