Vocation Brewery - Rare Sighting

This 6.3% New England IPA comes from the celebrated Yorkshire brewery renowned for its bold, hop-forward creations and wonderfully expressive modern craft beers. Bringing together the hazy, fruit-driven character that has made the New England style so popular, Rare Sighting promises a satisfyingly juicy drinking experience with plenty of personality. A welcome addition to Vocation's ever-expanding collection of adventurous IPAs, this elusive creation is one for enthusiasts who enjoy discovering something a little different.

Expect the characteristic soft, hazy appearance of a modern New England IPA, accompanied by an inviting hop-led aromatic profile. The style typically delivers vibrant impressions of tropical fruit, citrus and ripe stone fruit, with flavours reminiscent of juicy mango, fresh orange and succulent peach. A rounded malt backbone helps support the expressive hop character, creating a pleasing contrast between fruity richness and refreshing bitterness. Rather than the sharp, resinous bite associated with traditional West Coast IPAs, the emphasis is on softness, aromatic intensity and a beautifully integrated drinking experience.

At a substantial yet approachable 6.3% ABV, Rare Sighting sits comfortably in the sweet spot between an everyday pale ale and a heavyweight Double IPA. Its New England styling makes it an appealing choice for drinkers who appreciate expressive hop flavours, a smooth mouthfeel and a refreshing finish. Whether you're already a devoted Vocation fan or exploring the brewery's latest creations, Rare Sighting is another tempting reason to venture into the wonderfully juicy world of modern British craft beer. Keep your eyes peeled – you never know when something special might appear!
