A gloriously juicy, hop-saturated creation from Brittany's exciting Sparkle brewery, Sunburn is a beautifully hazy New England IPA that captures the last glorious rays of summer in every sip. Part of the brewery's Burning Summer series, this vibrant release takes inspiration from Sparkle's legendary Burn Août, delivering an explosion of tropical fruit character in a wonderfully approachable 6% package.
Brewed with a generous double dry-hopping of Citra and Nelson Sauvin, Sunburn combines two exceptionally expressive hop varieties to create an enticing bouquet of freshly squeezed citrus, ripe tropical fruits and delicate white grape. Expect vibrant aromas of juicy grapefruit, sweet mango and zesty lime, complemented by the distinctive gooseberry and vinous character of New Zealand's celebrated Nelson Sauvin hops.
On the palate, luscious waves of tropical fruit mingle with bright citrus and subtle white wine notes, supported by a soft malt backbone that allows the vibrant hop character to shine. A gentle bitterness balances the juicy sweetness, while the beautifully rounded mouthfeel creates a smooth, refreshing drinking experience.
