Beak Brewery x RAR Brewing - Prima

Prepare yourself for an absolute explosion of hops! Prima is an extraordinary 8.4% Double IPA from Beak Brewery, created in collaboration with Maryland's RaR Brewing, renowned for their boundary-pushing approach to hop saturation. Described by Beak as their most heavily hopped beer yet, this remarkable creation showcases an astonishing combination of Citra, Galaxy Prysma, Freestyle Riwaka, Citra HyperBoost, Galaxy, Freestyle Nectaron and Freestyle Motueka, supercharged with additional Nectaron and Riwaka Hop Kief. The result is a gloriously intense celebration of modern hop innovation, bursting with the irresistible flavours of ripe apricot, juicy pineapple and vibrant lime. Every element has been designed to maximise aromatic intensity, creating a truly spectacular beer for enthusiasts who simply cannot get enough hops.

Prima delivers an unapologetically bold drinking experience, with enormous hop character taking centre stage from the very first sip. Expect generous waves of succulent apricot and freshly cut pineapple, accompanied by a lively burst of zesty lime that brings welcome brightness to its intensely fruity profile. The combination of concentrated hop products and carefully selected varieties creates a remarkably expressive aromatic character, while the substantial 8.4% ABV provides plenty of strength to support its extravagant hopping regime. A soft, full-bodied texture complements the juicy fruit impressions, with a lingering hop-driven finish that rewards every sip. Powerful, intensely aromatic and packed with tropical character, Prima is a magnificent meeting of two breweries determined to discover just how far they can push the boundaries of the modern Double IPA.
