A unique collaboration with Hong Kong (and now Manchester!) coffee maestros Artista Perfetto.

Any brewer you care to meet will invariably tell you that they are powered by coffee, and we're no different here. When we got together with Artista Perfetto instead of going down our expected coffee imperial stout route, we wanted to try something different using the unique bright, fruity and floral flavours that come from specialty roasted coffee.

For this beer we swapped out our usual hops in the dry hopping process and replaced them with Cascara. Cascara is the dried out skins of the coffee cherry, a by-product of coffee processing that can be used in brewing fruity, sweet, tea-like drinks with flavour notes of cherry, hibiscus and chocolate. This allowed the liquid to really absorb all the natural flavourings from the skins creating a super soft berry and peach flavour that helps accentuate the Mosaic and Cashmere hops we’ve thrown in alongside another whack of peach just to amp it all up. Think Lipton peach iced tea in a juicy, hazy body.
