It seemed like as soon as we nailed our processes for adding vanilla to our beers it would only be a matter of time before it found its way to our dark beers. In the case of Sweet Eclipse, we knew that vanilla additions add a certain decadence and luxury to our beers, and what could be more decadent and luxurious than an Affogato-inspired stout? Utilising the custom blend of coffee we serve at Polly’s Social, this is a coffee-leaning stout drizzled with silky vanilla ice cream notes to create an experience to savour in a warm and inviting atmosphere such as out of the cold in a bustling pub with friends, or solo in front of a roaring fire.
