A base of chevallier malt, dark crystal and traditional British Hops combine to create a deep ruby ale with initial flavours of dried fruits, pine nuts and caramel.
 
Aged for 15 months in fresh Bourbon casks to infuse and accentuate the dominant aromas of oak and vanilla. The time in barrel provides the perfect conditions for a deeper body and a smoother mouthfeel, rounded off with subtle notes of strawberries and molasses on the finish.
