The aroma of dried fruit with a hint of molasses and biscuits reminded of the famous British Christmas cake. So we named the beer in the manner of old English pubs. The imagination draws pictures of a slightly gloomy and prim London of the Victorian era, with stagecoaches, the foggy Thames, gothic prose and opium smoking rooms. It's strong and rich.
