Subluminal Imperial Stout
Buxton Brewery & Stillwater Artisanal
Brewed in collaboration with Stillwater Artisanal, this is an Imperial Stout that slinks out of its bottle thick and black as tar with the deepest tawny brown head. The aroma is brandy and chocolate, warm and round and gooey and it entices you in. And when you take a swig you find that not only does the beer look thick when you pour it but it’s so sticky that it coats the inside of your face, glueing itself to you and refusing to leave.
